W024 This is a very nice looking German spring powered Vienna style regulator with a movement by the famous Gustav Becker clock factory. Although the movement is not original to the case, it fits perfectly. You can not tell by looking at it but I do not want any surprises. The ebony trim on the walnut case really looks good. It has a two piece porcelain dial and has a porcelain R/A in the ornate pendulum. This clock has a very rare feature that I have never seen before. The hammer for the gong is mounted to the mounting bracket. The arm from the movement lifts the hammer. This makes it much easier to install or remove the movement from the case. It is in good running order and a steal at this price. Price $895.00 SOLD |
