Here is one you do not find every day. This is a Welch Regulator G in an oak case with a black dial and spring powered time only movement. This is the only one of these I have ever seen. Most Regulator Gs had a striking weight powered movement. This is very rare but I can assure you that this is the only movement that has ever been in this case. There are no extra hole in the case, no evidence at all that another movement was ever present. Look at the picture of the movement. The dial and hands are original, the pendulum stick has been repaired. This clock was just cleaned and oiled in our shop and had a new mainspring installed. It is running perfectly and ready for another 121 years. Don't pass this one, it will be a long time before you see another one. This clock is truly an investment in the future.
