Here is a beautiful oak case Gilbert model Mitra with calendar. This is one of the most desirable Gilberts models because if it's unique and elaborate design. the original dial has aged beautifully too. It's very rare now days to find such a clock in this original condition. This particular clock has a feature that I have never seen before, nor can I find out any information about it. Look carefully at the picture of the glass, it is signed "Alabama Calendar Clock Co." They were probably the original retailers of this clock, however no information on the company has been found to date. Only flaw I found is the pendulum stick was repaired many years ago. It's a sturdy repair that is still working perfectly today.
