A breath taking gold plated French Bronze signed Henry Talbrat, circa 1870. The movement is by L. Marti, a renowned French clock maker of the highest quality. It strikes the hour and half hour on a bell. They just did not make finer clocks. The cobalt blue porcelain dial is perfect. It has cartouches for numbers. A ring of hand painted roses circle the center while gilt Louis XV hands tell the time. There is only one word to describe this clock; opulence. Clocks of this caliber are always a good investment. Better than money in the bank. The mints are still printing money, clocks like this will never be made again.
